elan1 RUN · CONFORMANCE
A suite your auditor can run without us.
elan1 Run Conformance is the K1–K7 test suite every component must pass before it may claim a fusion.*/v1 contract. It is blocking-green and runs offline, so your auditor can run it on their own machine without elan1. Third-party agents are tested separately against C1–C14.
Available now, in every elan1 Run subscription.
01What it does
Seven classes. Five block, two report a figure.
| Class | What it checks | Result |
|---|---|---|
| K1 Surface | The implementation matches the contract's surface | Blocks |
| K2 Isolation | One tenant cannot reach another's data; an attack runs nightly | Blocks |
| K3 Accounting | The meter counts what actually happened | Blocks |
| K4 Semantic | Answers behave as the contract promises | Reports a figure |
| K5 Failure | Failures come back in the declared shape | Blocks |
| K6 Performance | Speed and cost | Reports a figure |
| K7 Licence | Each component is pinned at an exact commit, with its licence text and obligations | Blocks |
A green assertion that has never been red is not evidence, so every assertion must be shown to fail before its pass counts. An implementation red for fourteen nights in a row comes off the price list. There is no override.
02Who it's for
People who check the stack for themselves.
- Auditors and CISOs who want to check the stack themselves, on their own machine.
- Platform teams, SIs and GPU operators who must show the stack still keeps its contracts after a change.
03How it works
Every night, every bound implementation.
Which classes block is fixed in the schema. The specimen shows one run, written row by row in words.
- Test vectors are written from each contract's descriptor.
- The suite runs every night against every bound implementation.
- A result is blocking-green or it is not. Which classes block is fixed in the schema, not chosen at run time.
- A red implementation cannot be the target of a substitution.
- The same suite runs offline, on a machine we have never seen. Results land in the append-only evidence plane.
fusion.vectors/v1 · Implementation B · night 1 of 14
run cr_c4ca4238harness 0.9.2vector set 7f3a…c21eoffline · auditor’s machine
| Class | What this run found | Result |
|---|---|---|
| K1 Surface | All 64 surface vectors matched the contract's descriptor. | Green · blocks |
| K2 Isolation | The nightly cross-tenant attack ran. No read reached another tenant. | Green · blocks |
| K3 Accounting | Meter rows matched the calls actually made, unit for unit. | Green · blocks |
| K4 Semantic | Agreement 0.94, against a tolerance of 0.90. | Reported · does not block |
| K5 Failure | Every injected failure came back in the declared shape. | Green · blocks |
| K6 Performance | Added latency at p95: 38 ms, against a tolerance of 50 ms. | Reported · does not block |
| K7 Licence | Pinned at an exact commit. Licence text archived; obligations listed. | Green · blocks |
Blocking-green. Five blocking classes green; K4 and K6 reported.
04In the console
The suite, as the console shows it.
The nightly matrix across every implementation of every contract, and a single run in progress on a sandbox clone.

Illustrative specimen. Not customer data. Fictional sandbox data from the console design.
05What it connects to
The suite alone decides step 5 of a substitution.
Conformance alone decides step 5 of every Substitution; no person can wave it through. The suite does not test elan1 Govern. It checks only that elan1 Run called Govern and honoured the answer. Writes go through elan1 Govern.

06What it costs
Included in every subscription.
The unit
One node-year
Per node and per GPU. Runtime units are counted and shown, never priced.
Conformance is included in every elan1 Run subscription. The bill has three capacity lines: the subscription, every CPU node and every GPU under management.
| What | Price · excl. GST | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | ₹1,80,000 per year | 2 CPU nodes included |
| Standard | ₹6,00,000 per year | Plus nodes and GPUs under management |
| Sovereign | ₹24,00,000 per year | Plus nodes and GPUs under management |
| CPU node under management | ₹1,80,000 per node per year | |
| GPU under management | ₹1,80,000 per GPU per year | |
| Paid 90-day pilot | ₹4,50,000 | |
| A call refused at the edge | 40% of one governed action (₹0.64 at the L1 rate) | Returns a 409 before the first token, so no token is sent |

08What it does not do
What Conformance does not do.
- It does not test whether a business write should happen. That is elan1 Govern’s job.
- K4 and K6 report figures; they do not block.
- A green suite is not a compliance statement. It is our suite, so read the vectors before you rely on them.
09FAQ
Five direct answers.
Seven classes of test that a component must pass before it may claim a fusion.*/v1 contract. Five are pass or fail and block: surface, isolation, accounting, failure shape and licence. Answer quality and speed depend on your workload, so they are reported against a tolerance.
Yes. The suite runs offline on your auditor's own machine, with no network and no account with us, so the result does not depend on trusting elan1.
C1–C14 are the conformance tests for third-party AI agents that write through elan1 Govern. An agent may not claim to run on Govern until it passes them.
Answer quality and speed depend on your workload, so we report them against a tolerance. Surface, isolation, accounting, failure shape and licence are pass or fail.
No. Vendor validation runs on the vendor's machine. This suite runs on yours.
