For operators

The agent drafts it. A person you name commits it.

Start with one process. Add the next when it holds.

Human-in-the-loop for AI agents means a named person, not the agent, commits any change your rules mark as consequential. With elan1, the agent drafts the change, the rules decide whether it needs approval, and the approver sees exactly what will change before saying yes. Routine changes within limits can run alone, and every action is recorded.

01The first question, answered

Real work, and nobody loses control of it.

Can an agent do real work here without anyone losing control of it?

Yes, when the work is a governed action. The agent compiles a typed write intent. elan1 Govern checks it against your rules, with no model in the check. Where your rules say so, a named approver who is not the requester sees it first. Then one writer makes the change. If anything is unclear, it stops and asks a person.

02What you see in the product

Four screens your team will live in.

Open any card to see it at full size, with notes on what each part does. Functional colours appear only inside the product, always with a word.

01

Work queue

Proposed changes and the record each would change.

02

Approvals inbox

The diff, gates passed or failed, rule version, and “Approve and commit” for the named approver only.

03

Refusal card

A typed code in plain words, what to fix, who to ask.

04

Records

One proof record per change.

Illustrative specimen. Not customer data. *Kolam Components is a fictional company; all data is illustrative.

03How it starts

One process first. The next when it holds.

  1. 01

Pick one process where a person already signs off.

Month-end journals, vendor invoices, credit notes: work where a sign-off already exists.

  2. 02

Write its rules as a declaration — configuration, not a build.

Seven blocks, versioned. Who may act, who approves, what is never allowed.

  3. 03

Run it in the sandbox; read the refusals.

Every refusal carries a typed code and what to fix. A refusal costs 40% of one governed action.

  4. 04

Go live with a named approver.

Above the autonomy ceiling, the approver commits. Every change leaves one record.

Paid per governed action. A refusal costs 40% of one. No per-seat fees.

05What we don't do for you

Plain limits, before you plan around us.

  • We don’t choose the process or set its rules for you. The rules are yours, written in your words.
  • We don't replace your approvers. elan1 puts the change in front of the person your rules name; it never approves on their behalf.
  • In Mode B, reached over MCP or HTTP without the write credential, elan1 records the write; it cannot stop it.
  • A record shows a check ran and who approved; it does not show the rule was a good one.
  • We don’t name customers or publish their results. Every record and screen on this page is an illustrative specimen.
