AI agent governance pricing
Paid per governed action. A refusal costs 40% of one.
elan1 charges one meter per platform: governed actions for elan1 Govern, credits for elan1 Work, decisions for elan1 Decide and node-years for elan1 Run. Each plan includes an allowance, and usage beyond it is billed at a published rate. A refusal costs 40% of one governed action, because it still runs every check and writes a proof record. All prices are list prices in INR, exclusive of GST.
The full price book for all four layers: every plan, unit price, add-on and one-time fee, with what each includes. Compare them side by side, or open one layer and estimate your own bill.
01The principle
Each layer charges for one thing it can count.
Nobody pays twice for the same action, and a refusal costs 40% of one governed action.

How the bill works
- 01
An invoice line without a
write_idcannot exist. - 02
A refusal is metered at 0.4 of a governed action, because it still runs every check and writes a proof record.
- 03
A decision is not a governed action; only consequential writes go through elan1 Govern.
- 04
No layer charges for your own users or approvers.
elan1 Work
Governed agents for the work that commits your business.
elan1 Decide
Typed, calibrated decisions, routed by risk.
elan1 Govern
The governed write path for AI agents.
elan1 Run
The contract layer and Day-2 operation for the open-source AI stack.

Design partners
Terms: talk to us.
Design partners are early adopters of the launched platforms. Terms are agreed one to one, in writing.
Yes, at a reduced rate. A refusal costs 40% of one governed action at your level's rate: within the allowance, it uses 0.4 of an included action; beyond it, it costs ₹0.64 per refusal at L1. A refusal still runs every check, returns a typed code and writes a proof record, but nothing is written to your books, so it costs less than an allowed action. A call that elan1 Run refuses at the edge costs the same 40%: ₹0.64 at the L1 rate.
elan1 Work plans are set by turnover band: Nano (turnover ₹1–5 crore) is ₹2,499 per month, Growth (turnover ₹5–20 crore) is ₹7,999 per month and Scale (turnover ₹20–100 crore) is ₹19,999 per month. Each plan includes credits, and credits beyond the allowance cost ₹0.80 each. A Tally to ERPNext migration is ₹24,999 one-time.
No. A CA seat costs ₹0, always, for every client site, and the CA multi-client console is included. The chartered accountant can read and approve every change in a client's books at no cost.
No. All prices are exclusive of GST. GST is added at the applicable rate on the invoice.
Yes, for elan1 Work. The Sandbox is a 14-day trial at ₹0, with 1 app, 3 users, 500 credits, community support. Design partners use elan1 Work at ₹0 for 90 days, with 20,000 credits a month fair use, then a 12-month price lock.
No. An elan1 Work credit is a rendering of governed actions, never a separate count, so one change is counted once. Meters never double-count across layers.
No. Decide charges for the decision; Govern for the committed write.
Every plan includes all six modules: Decision Studio, Router, Calibration Lab, Review Console, Decision Ledger and Decision Packs. Individual Decision Packs from the pack catalogue are also priced per pack.
The module is not; its governance profile is. The Runtime Controls module is included in every elan1 Run subscription. The governance profile, with elan1 Govern built in, adds three nodes under management at ₹5,40,000 per year.
No. Operator OEM and white-label licence prices are in the price book; revenue shares are partner terms, available on request.
Yes. Every figure on this page is a current list price, exclusive of GST. Annual and volume terms are agreed in writing.

What changed
- 10 Oct 2026v1.6
A call refused at the edge by elan1 Run, including a budget hard-stop, now costs 40% of one governed action: ₹0.64 at the L1 rate. No token is sent, and tokens are still never priced.
One rule for every refusal: a refused call carries the same reduced charge as a refusal by elan1 Govern.
- 10 Oct 2026v1.5
Refusals are no longer free. A refused governed action costs 40% of one governed action at the same rate: 0.4 of an included action within the allowance, then ₹0.64 per refusal at L1. In elan1 Work, a change Govern refuses uses 0.4 of a credit. A call refused at the edge by elan1 Run stayed at ₹0 (changed in v1.6).
A refusal still runs every check and writes a proof record, so it carries a reduced charge. It stays below an allowed action, so saying no never costs more.
- 10 Oct 2026v1.4
All four platforms are available, so every figure is now a current list price, exclusive of GST. Basis labels are removed. elan1 Decide plans include all six modules, with catalogue Decision Packs also priced per pack. elan1 Run Runtime Controls is in every subscription, and its governance profile adds three nodes under management. Partner revenue shares moved to partner terms on request.
Launch: prices confirmed as list prices, and stated as exclusive of GST.
- 6 Oct 2026v1.3
The full price book: plans, unit prices beyond each allowance, add-ons, one-time fees and support for elan1 Work, elan1 Decide, elan1 Govern and elan1 Run, with worked examples and an estimator per layer.
Transcribed from our four financial models, so every platform and detail page can point to an exact, labelled price.
- 6 Oct 2026v1.2
Pricing rebuilt with platform buttons, second-level buttons and comparison tables: every elan1 Work line, elan1 Govern level, elan1 Decide module and elan1 Run module has its own panel and link.
So every platform and detail page can link straight to the price it mentions.
- 6 Oct 2026v1.1
One name per layer: elan1 Work and elan1 Run. “elan1 Work for small firms” is an edition, not a separate product.
Founder decision on public names.
- 6 Oct 2026v1.0
Four meters published: credit, decision, governed action and node-year. Refusals were ₹0 (changed in v1.5).
From the financial model behind the Brand Architecture Blueprint v1.0.
When a claim, a level or a price changes, the change is logged here with the reason. Earlier versions stay readable; history is never edited in place.
