Conformance

Conformance is passing a published test suite before making a claim. In elan1, components of the open-source AI stack must pass the K1–K7 suite before claiming a fusion.*/v1 contract, and third-party AI agents are tested against C1–C14. The suites run offline, so an auditor can run them without elan1.

In one sentence: Passing a published test suite before making a claim: K1–K7 for Run components, C1–C14 for third-party agents.

01In more detail

What it means in practice

Suite K1–K7 is blocking-green and runs offline, including on your auditor's machine. A component that fails it does not replace the one in service.

Third-party agents connect in Mode B, or Mode A by agreement. They make no claim to run on Govern until conformance tests C1–C14 pass.

02Where this shows up in elan1

elan1 Run's conformance suite, and the bar a third-party agent clears before it claims to run on Govern.
